Health Issues suck..

so in 2014 I hospitalized for about 5 days, I went to the ER because my legs were hurting to walk, and bruising at light pressure. It had happened earlier in the year I was sent home with antibiotics they thought it was an infection, so I assumed this would be the same get some pills go home..they did some tests and come back and told me I was being admitted that I had congestive heart failure, and my kidneys were failing and at 11% function..They were preparing to insert a port in me assuming I would be going on dialysis, but a kidney specialist told them to hold off..Over the next year and a half with a stricter diet, meds and this dr I was able to even pass his expectations and recovered 50% function...

Now after a couple years being pretty stable my recent visit tuesday has shown about a 30% drop, my kidneys are at 16% function, from about 48% in January. I was asked if I took any over the counter pain meds I had been taking walmart brand excedrin , but switched to aleve after an incident dry heaving and blood coming up about 3 weeks ago. My thought was I was getting too much aspirin..My doctor said to stop taking aleve..Im also on a new injection for diabetes but he said that wasnt an issue..maybe other meds I take may need to change, specifically he named lisinopril, but for now its labs every week and hopefully I can beat needing dialysis again.

I just want to be there to watch my little girl grow up, who just a few weeks ago was in a car accident and broke her shoulder. Just seems at times more and more things pile up at once for stress. If it wasnt for my little girl, Id just as soon give up and get it over with. There is an article from a little over 2 years ago showing a bionic kidney, that was expected to be for sale in 2years..If it comes down to it I hope that is an option. Id much rather get that then risk someone else with donating or such..who knows my luck insurance wouldnt cover it anyway..but I can hope.
